The large mat is really big

in the pictures the large mat looks fairly sized but in real life the mat is very big. i would recommend just buying the smaller mat

The fabric is definitely synthetic but its breathable and not rubbery so it doesn't make my hands sweaty while cubing. It looks pretty nice and even the small size is quite adequate and doesnt feel too small.

Smooth mat

Received the mat (large) today, purchased it for sports stacking cups, it is smooth and nice to stack.I too didnt get the pins for timer, but i had, so fixed it.if they provide the pins it would be good.
