Great 2x2 for the price

The YuXin Little Magic 2x2 has been a go-to choice for most beginners out there. For anyone starting out, this cube is great because it takes very little tuning, and is set-up quite well out of the box. Without lube, it is fast - and with Cubelelo's Storm lube, it gets even faster. The natural fast turning speed might be great for advanced solvers too and the pieces glide over each other without any friction whatsoever. The numerous magnets also do a fantastic job at stabilizing such a quick cube. The shades are glossy, but are not extremely glaring. The cube I got corner-twisted more than usual, and in 500 solves, there have been around 30 corner twists. The build quality is quite decent for this price and the cube makes a satisfying "thack" sound if you move it too fast. Maybe it is a defect with my cube, but the cube tends to drop out of my hand frequently, which messes up solves. For lubrication, there are ridges in the piece's inner-sides. These distribute lube well. The springs are smooth and don't make annoying "creaks" if you turn it slowly. In all, I love this cube, but I will give it a 4-star rating because it slips out of my hands repeatedly.
