The GAN Skewb Magnetic has many of GAN's key features. These include magnetic core positioning, the GES tensioning system and a honeycomb design. Its corner-cutting provides smooth rotation with fewer lockups.

It comes in two versions. The Enhanced version has strong core positioning with a strong positioning feel, while the Standard version has a comparatively soft positioning feel.
