The Magic Clock is the speed-optimized version of The Rubik’s Clock, which was invented by Christopher Wiggs and Christopher Taylor in 1988. The famous inventor of the Rubik’s Cube, Erno Rubik, then bought the patents to the puzzle to begin marketing it as the Rubik’s Clock.
Magic Cube Clock Orientation
This puzzle has two sides, with each side having nine dials. There are wheels/gears on 4 sides of the puzzle, each of which controls the corresponding corner dial. There are also 4 pins, whose position (up or down) determines whether or not the dials adjacent to the corresponding corner dial move with it.
The aim of the puzzle is to get all dials (on both faces) to face at 12 o’clock.
It was first conducted as a WCA event in August 2003, where Jaap Scherphuis from The Netherlands got the first-ever world record with a single of 38.97 seconds. It’s remarkable to see how far this event has come, with the world record single being 2.87 seconds as of July 2021!!
Buy Fruit Cubes Online In India Fruit cubes (short for ‘modifications’) are puzzles that deviate from the original cube shape of most puzzles. When turned, they may change shape even further, and hence, solving them mostly involves understanding how the pieces move, and their orientation. Fruit cubes are those that eventually form the shape of a fruit when solved. They also make for great display puzzles, and are some of the most fun-to-solve non-WCA puzzles out there. Good examples are the banana, apple and pear puzzles.
